How did those of you on the west coast that went to the solo shows in April go about getting tickets? I know this is going to be a very tough ticket to come by. Anybody get them from a ticket agency? Just curious to know how much I can expect to pay if I get shut out at the on-sale time.

Stub Hub has a ton of tickets already post for outrageous prices ($400-$500 each) I hope since it is on a smaller scale they can police TC members who are scalping! I also hate TM and "legal" scalping businesses.....it is so shady that so many tickets are already in scalpers hands before they are even on sale to the public.
BTW....man those tickets went fast today....if you didn't click within the first :01 there was no way you got a ticket. At least I didn't.
BTW...."temporarily out of stock" Just thought you would want to see that one more time today!!!!!! Rats!
BTW...I like the fact that seats are random despite having a great Fan Club number (In Fan club since early 95). IF I was the band I would get sick of seeing the same folks in the front. However, it does annoy me that I was competing for tickets today against people that joined 3 days ago!
i wonder how high demand will be for 10c tix for the mtl show(s)
I managed to get tickets to the first Montreal show but demand seemed as high as it was for the Boston and NY shows yesterday. Our favorite "temporarily out of stock" message appeared a few seconds after my order was placed, which was no more than a minute total. There's definitely an excellent chance of a second Montreal show at this point.
I guess this makes up for me missing both Vancouver shows this spring.

Tickets for the second Montreal show sold out at Ten Club in just over 10 minutes. Perhaps people weren't as eager to get tickets to an "unconfirmed" show. Either that or some people may think EV might have the same show two nights in a row.

weren't the setlists virtually the same on the west coast tour?

Why does the site log me out everytime I click on Tickets after I have already logged in, can see my profile, click on Tshirts or any other category? But when I click on Tickets it says I am logged out. I log back in and still cant get to the Tickets page while logged in?

Jesus, I got 2nd night, but it scared the shit out of me. I guess 1st night is where I got the bugs out of my "system", 2nd night is really what I wanted anyway but if I got 1st night I wasn't going to turn it down.
I kept hitting refesh, but hit it too fast and missed the buy button once. Then I figured out clicking the link is faster. I got the buy button again and it logged me out. I apparently wasn't fast enough, as I didn't get them. Kept going, got "out of stock" so assumed they really were, but they didn't move the date to the bottom so I kept going. Switched to "temporarily out of stock" again, hmmm. Got a buy button, clicked on it, and was told they were out of stock again! WTF? Hit back>click>back>click hoping to change my fortunes, then somehow the buy button went away and I was back to square one. I also figured out that my PC was faster than my laptop despite being on the same network, so I switched to that, was going to have my girlfriend operate the laptop if she got here before I got tix. Oh and I activated the "remember password" feature in firefox, so if I got kicked out again, I never saw it.
The show still stayed at the top so I kept clicking, figuring it would be supplanted by night 2 when it came on. Night 2 went right below it, first time it came up it was a half-formed link, then the link was final but clicking on it still brought up not for sale, then finally on the 3rd or 4th try I got to actually buy it and it worked.
Ok now I'm going to go ice my wrists....

If for some reason my girlfriend can't make it, I'll let you know. As far as I know she can and wants to and is using some connections to hopefully snag something very interesting for us concert-related (non-Pearl Jam related) a couple weeks before the Ed show....

I'm assuming that "temporarily out of stock" appears before the TC staff can place the permanent "out of stock" message. It sounds like demand for the Chicago shows was much higher than it was for the Canadian shows.
Hopefully, staggering the on-sale times made the purchasing process a bit easier for everyone this time around. It sounds like there are still some kinks that need to be worked out though. I guess it's a learning process for everyone involved.
I hate to admit it but there's always Ticketmaster for anyone who wasn't lucky with the pre-sales.
