Has anyone ever used Ticketsnow.com to buy tickets for anything? I couldn't get Tickets to see Ed in NYC and they have a bunch for sale on their website. Is this site legit and what have people's experience been with dealing with them? I know they're a broker and are charging obscene amounts of money for tickets, I'm just curious if anyone has ever used them and what their experience has been. Thanks.

Don't buy from scalpers/ticket brokers. a) you're feeding teh rats b) you might get nothing anyway, many of those sites offer for sale something they don't have and just hope for, then when they don't get it, they might refund you, but you've missed the opportunity to find a proper ticket in the meantime.
check here, check at Synergy (assuming you're not banned like me ), keep checking TM, go on the day to the pre-party, queue in the drop line... all those will get you a ticket for face. I went to LA, the hottest tickets of that tour, in April without tickets, got in both shows (1st night drop-line, only arrived at 3-4pm, 2nd a stranger on Synergy).
good luck (can't help, I'm, not going at all...well, as of now )

Thanks for the info Pegasus. I've been in the Middle East for almost all the PJ tours sine 2003. I just got home in May, and I finally caught them at MSG 2 this year. I really want to see Ed, and don't want to leave it to chance on the day of the show. So I'm just really curious if anyone has had luck with websites like Ticketsnow or StubHub. I hate having to go through them, but don't wanna miss this either. Also, if anyone has an extra ticket, PM me.
I have never heard of 'ticketsnow' however i have used stubhub, aceticket and ebay in the past when 10c and ticketmaster have failed me for 2 PJ shows and various other concerts and sporting events........

isnt TicketsNow the TicketMaster affiliate that was linked directly from the "sold out" page? if they are affiliated with TM, I would be comfortable buying from them (in terms of actually getting your tickets). they are still crooks, but they run the system for now.
good luck, and welcome home.

I used Ticketsnow for a Cornell show in Philly last year at The TLA. Got tix really fast and everything was fine. So while I hate those places, they are at least legit.
I've used ticketsnow.com a ton. they are completely reliable (as long as you are willing to spend!!!!) never once had a problem. now stub hub on the other hand....

Thanks to everyone for the info. I just really wanted to make sure they weren't a scam and were reliable. Just bought 2 tickets, orchestra seating, for $160 a piece. I guess thats twice face value, but not as bad as I was expecting.
