Just got back after night 1. What a FANTASTIC experience. Ed was in a really good mood, cracking a lot of jokes and making it feel very intimate. It's really nothing like a PJ show though, and strange sitting down for a concert. Hopefully someone will post the full setlist because I don't have it, but I can say this...
Blackbird!!

Just thinking..why would he ever want to release any of these shows officially? asshole morons nonstop screaming dumb shit at him..they're not even listening for a lot of it. real shame.

It's almost like these people think it's their chance to have a conversation with Ed. Or it's as close as their going to get to it. Don't forget, most people are used to the arena concerts which is nothing like this setting.

True..but watching some of these youtube clips of him trying to get into or out of his venue..and then listening to all these shows & hearing nothing but bbllleeegghggaarrggh!! from audience members..i wouldn't be surprised if he had a really low opinion of us as a whole. Though like I always say, no matter how big or small the room, you'll never hear the people who are listening.

That's why I hope he'll add a European tour. I'm sure not all crowds will be equally respectful, but I do expect less morons in some places...

Mirella, that read like a weather report 'we're expecting a heavy downpour of assholes at ed's show tonight so be sure to bring sticks and clubs to beat them with afterwards..here's tom with the sport'

I saw Neil Young last November in CHicago... first half of the show was NY Solo by himself... and yes, indeed, idiots yelling out song titles even though an announcement was made "please dont shout out songs as tonights set list has already been made out by Mr Young"
If idiots are STILL yelling out at NY... can we really expect the idiots to not yell at EdVed?
That being said... the last 3 shows might not be as bad as the East coast... were generally more mellow crowds... or at least thats what Ive heard...

Are you kidding? I fully expect Chicago to be filled with douche bags. I'm going to try to ignore it the best I can and be pleasantly surprised if I'm wrong.

The shouting assholes are going to show up no matter where you go... except maybe Japan(?!?). Ultimately if they are shouting songs I don't mind. At least it's more of an interaction with Eddie than just chanting his name or 'I love you'. A few times during the Montreal shows he laughed off the requests or made comments and it actually added to the intimacy of the show.

True their were complete idiots who had to yell out whenever they could probably hoping to get acknowledged in some way by Ed, but when I look back at the last 2 nights in Montreal those morons aren't even part of my memories. I've never seen Ed in such a great mood, he sounded great, loved the setlists, and the crowds for both nights were awesome. It's also nice to have a great opener like Liam Finn.
