The David Lynch Foundation presents the WORLD HARMONY CONCERT
Paul McCartney, Donovan, Eddie Vedder, Sheryl Crow, Paul Horn, Moby and more will perform a global benefit concert at Radio City Music Hall in New York City on Saturday, April 4, 2009, in support of the David Lynch Foundation’s international initiativeto teach one million children the Transcendental Meditation technique—and change the world overnight.

He is right, but wrong quote. Eddie mentioned Sheryl Crow at Detroit 2003 night one. He was talking about all the sponsors banners around the stage and was going through them ("Big Boy... is that the restaurant or some kind of dildo...?") and then started talking about corporations buying up all the newspapers and radio stations (Clear Channel). He said something like: "Watch out for those guys... pretty soon they will be telling you that blue eyed people are smarter and war is a good thing.... Or maybe they will just bombard you with Sheryl Crow music. She likes Big Boy, doesn't she? Now we're getting down Detroit, allll right"
It is hilarious, and got a big reaction out of the crowd

haha Yeah I knew it was somewhere. I liked his dark humor on the 2003 tour. I remember thinking back in 2003 that he almost seemed like he could do some stand up comedy Bill Hicks style.

Hold up, this is a concert to benefit meditation education? I don't quite understand how that will change the world over night. Anyone know why Lynch and all these musicians see this as so important?
