I have been to many Pearl Jam concerts over the years and am curious to what piano song they come out to. Thanks for the help.

In 2000 they came into a symphony version of Baba O Reily. Since 2006 they have been coming onstage to Master Slave from Ten. Other than that, I'm not sure.

2008 was Philip Glass' Metamorphosis Two.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/In_C ? (which is the inspiration for Baba intro, not the other way round)
Saw a documentary on it couple of years ago, fascinating. (http://www.last.fm/music/Terry+Riley/_/In+C?autostart it's not working for me at work so not sure it does)

Occasionally, in 2006 they came out to the intro music to Severed Hand (looped) too, right?

I would assume only for shows where Severed Hand opened?

I know at least one of the shows in 06 I went to had the little ditty after Inside Job as the intro, too. They seemed to switch it up a bit in 06.

It was so cool to hear. Really, it was. At Bonnaroo, they started it and it took a few seconds for me to realize what it was. I couldn't remember what specific number Metamorphosis it was, but I was plenty familiar with the piece, and I knew those arpeggios were coming up. When they did I just closed my eyes and I had the biggest smile on my face. I don't know who in the band picked it, but it was absolutely perfect.

Then those first notes of HTI... I probably jizzed right there.

Jeff name dropped Phillip Glass in a fairly recent interview...maybe around the time of Tone. So it could be him.

I am surprised this doesn't happen more often, really. I'd love to hear that.
