Can anyone hook me up with the early version lyrics Eddie used in the Boston show in 94'. The boot is on pearljamlive.com. I cant make it out myself.

Immortality premiered on 4/11/94 with different lyrics than both the 4/12/94 and studio versions.

Immortality - 4/11/94:
http://www.sendspace.com/file/fg53fx
I can't sit on the wall
I can't tell which one that you are
I won't feel the comfort in the wind

I don't feel the cause
I can't fall which one anymore
I don't feel the comfort in the world

See it as is
I don't need this
I die just to live
Immortality

I can't call the cause
I won't tell which way is on or off
I won't fall unless I have to go

I won't feel the wall
I will run, take me far enough
I won't take the answer from the one

Take it as is
I don't need this
I die just to live
Immortality

I can't follow the law
I can't follow the world
I can't fall which way down
I will love you, is with you

I don't see you
I can't hold on
I die just to live
Take it as is
I don't need this
Take it as a law

Immortality - 4/12/94:

I could take the sun
I could call the couple anyone
I won't tell the comfort in the world
I can't take it off
I won't say, "Enough, it's not my fault"
I won't care, there's something in the wind

Take me as I am
I don't need this
I die just to live
Immortality...

I could paint the moon
I could reflect light into a room
If I could, the fortune (all be there)
I could paint it all
I won't say, "Enough, it's not my fault"
I won't call the altar in the air

Take me as is
I don't need this
I die just to live
Immortality...

I can't take a walk
I won't fight this world
I won't save it all
It is not my fault

Take me as is
I don't need this
I die just to live
I won't stay long
I'll be long gone
I die just to live...

I never knew this! Very interesting.

Anyone have the 4/12/94 song also? The 4/11/94 was very interesting to hear since recently immortality has been on repeat for me...

I was listening to this show the other day and noticed Corduroy has slightly different lyrics as well, great show btw.

Many thanks to dogbelly. That was awesome. Pretty weird finally seeing something after you've listened to it on cd for 15 years. Just like the Crazy Mary and Dock of the Bay vids. They didn't look anything like the vision I had in my head.
