Can a few people that have been there or have the boots give me a run down on how these Backspacer songs are coming off live?

Amongst the Waves as good as on record?

GSMF! Does it rock? How is Ed's voice on it?

Does Unthought Known hold up in between Hold On and In Hiding?

Thank you!

Hold On > Unthought Known > In Hiding = Un-freakin-real. The new songs are great, and fantastic singalongs.

i think force of nature lacks punch live, specially ed's vocals.

maybe they'd pull it off better if they play it early in the set.

the ed songs with the strings were :nice:

*oops, you were asking about specific songs, none of which i mentioned. sorry.

I thought Force of Nature and Unthought Known sounded great in Philly.

I was there nights 3 and 4, so I heard everything except Supersonic. I'd rank 'em like this:

Unthought Known

Amongst the Waves
Got Some
The Fixer

GSMF
Johnny Guitar

Speed of Sound
Just Breathe
Force of Nature
The End

The last four are hard to separate. I really wanted Force of Nature to come off strong, but it didn't. I was likewise excited to hear Just Breathe and The End with strings, but will probably have to wait for the boots to appreciate them. They didn't do much for me live. I probably enjoyed SoS the most of those bottom four. Didn't expect much out of it, and it pretty much just is what it is no matter how you slice it.

No, you answered correctly. I want to know about all of Backspacer live and this thread is helping.

I wondered how FoN would come off. I think they could have come up with a stronger tone for the guitar lead on the album as well.

Thanks for the responses.
