I want to put together a Live on 2 Legs style live album compilation, but a huge one, and I've picked out the songs, but I'd like some opinions on what people think the best live versions are of certain songs, I have some ideas for some of them but I'd love input from people.

(I dont want to start an argument about songs I left off or whatever, these are the ones I want in the order I want)

I'm starting it with an acoustic set a-la Mansfield 03, but I've pretty much decided on the versions I'm going to use for those. The songs are Long Road, Gone, Oceans, Indifference, Crazy Mary, Dead Man, Immortality, and Small Town, but like I said I've got those ones decided, I want help with the rest of the set.

Sounds similar to something I've been toying with for a while - the 3 disc acoustic + main set + encore set compilation. I'm assuming you're wanting to use bootleg era shows only? Here are some of the versions I've picked out for mine that overlap with your list...

That Animal from Uniondale 03 is a very tight version. Probably the best from 03 tour. Good choice.

Any version of Lukin that you choose has just got to be from at least from 2003 or prior.

I'm actually willing to go further back than 2000 if I can get quality recordings of the songs. These were some of the ones I was going to go with before I made the post, but like I said I'll try to listen to any suggestions given and will go with them if they are better. I have a ton of bootlegs(none post 2006 though ) but the ones I'm most familiar with are the Mansfield 03 trilogy and the Gorge Box so those are pretty prevelant on my list so far. Part of the reason I made this post was so I could mix it up beyond that.
