Is the show they are doing at the ACL festival going to be the same thing that is shown on the TV show or are they doing a smaller show just for the TV program?

ACL, the show, is a totally different beast than the festival appearance.
I'd imagine sometime soon that local 10c fans will receive an invite to the taping. Dave Matthews Band recorded a show not too long ago and their fan club did something similar.
I heard they donated 150 tickets to some charity called "wounded warriors" or something. That place holds like 400 people or something. I'm sure there will be some "celebrity vip" types that will "happen" to be there as well. I do hope that the local TenClub members at least get a shot.

You all are correct. There was no ticket allotement for local TenC members which I thought was bullshit. The least they could do was a lottery and they didn't do that either.

I was at simulcast and when they finished with Porch, they said good night and the lights at the theater came up and the soundboard guy started playing Glorified G as if to say it's over. We walked out and then I got a tweet that said they played Crazy Mary. I haven't confirmed it but if they played it, it was at the end.
I will be playing some of the audio of Eddie speaking on the next podcast along with some other surprises. http://www.giventocast.blogspot.com

They had tickets. They gave them to the wounded warriors. The theater only fits 400 and any 'Friends of ACL' get two tickets if they want them. There are 500 or those, so, do the math.
So the price of a ticket was a $5,000 dollar a year commitment or blowing your fucking leg off in defense of our freedom(or someone else's psycho view of our freedom...depending on how you see it).
You should have come to the simulcast. It was awesome, free, and had free beer.

Yeah, from everything I've heard they played it and the ACL staff were freaking out cause they thought the show was over. Supposedly Boom went off on the solo and it was a very emotional moment for him cause he watched the show with his dad and said he would somedsay play it.... he had tears in his eyes while ed told the story.

Yes. This is correct. Ed said something about Boom telling him that he used to watch that show from his tiny Hawaiian island with his "Pop". And that one day he was going to play that fuckin' show. He alluded that Boom's Pop had passed and Boom was very emotional, wiping tears away at one point. He went totally off on the solo and it was a great end to the taping.
