For sentimental reasons or for the design?

I can't say I'm fond of the latter - I thought all of the 2006 Oz posters broke new boundaries in ugliness. Bloody awful. I'm very turned off by the boxing kangaroo, I hate all that blow-hard patriotic nonsense.

I've got two faves (though I'm generally not into the whole poster worship thing), Adelaide '98 and Missoula '98.

Adelaide holds very obvious sentimental attachment for me, my first PJ show, but I also think it's a stellar design - the whole crazy sideshow thing is quite unique, I think it'd be a great t-shirt.

Missoula is just really goddamn cool, another I'd love to wear on a shirt - I don't know why this resonates with me but it really does. It just yanks my crank, what can I say.

Although it's not a show poster per se, this one is pretty tough to beat (good album too):

Aus had some really nice ones and some clunkers, I think Newy, Perth, Adelaide 2, Sydney 3 and Brisbane 2 are all awesome.

I'm a fan of quite a few of the posters designed by Ward Sutton, who did Adelaide '98 (see above). Good stuff, I'd love to see him do some more for the band. Here's another couple he's done that I like a lot:

I'm a fan :D And I do like the design. Do you have something agaisnt patriotism is general or just the hard-core Aussie rednecks that worship that southern cross and subsequent tattoos
