Berlin's the stand-out setlist by far for my tastes, a bunch of reasons:
* Why Go opener - I love it, hope they keep doing it. * Binaural-heavy setlist (the good stuff, too - Gods' Dice, especially) * Hard To Imagine in the first encore * Faithfull > Sonic Reducer - holy shit!
Set List: Why Go, Hail Hail, The Fixer, Corduroy, I Am Mine, Nothing As It Seems, Untitled, MFC, Gods' Dice, Even Flow, Unemployable, Severed Hand, Light Years, Daughter/(Blitzkrieg Bop), Got Some, Glorified G, Brother, Insignificance, Do The Evolution
1st encore: Bee Girl, Better Man/(Save It For Later), Given To Fly, Hard To Imagine, Alive
2nd encore: Angie (part/chorus. Rolling Stones), Small Town, Faithfull, Sonic Reducer, Rockin' In The Free World, Yellow Ledbetter

I'm home from work now david.
Main Set: Of The Girl, Corduroy, Severed Hand, Why Go, Brain Of J, I Am Mine, The Fixer, Given To Fly, Off He Goes, Even Flow, Unemployable, Faithful, Down, Got Some, Half Full, Lukin, Not For You/(Modern Girl), Do The Evolution
Encore 1: Inside Job, Wishlist, Black/(We Belong Together), Alive
Encore 2: Small Town, Wasted Reprise, Betterman/(Save It For Later), Porch, Rockin' In The Free World
The entire main set is almost perfect. If it weren't for the scattering in of The Fixer, Unemployable, and Down, it'd be flawless.
Lukin->NFY->Modern Girl->DTE = orgasm
plus betterman had the SIFL tag

Down I'll give you, but Inside Job is the only other blot on that setlist, chud (and it's a big one - bwaha, that's what she s-)
Somehow it just doesn't thrill me like Berlin, though. The flow's not there.
I want to see some more Vs. represented in these shows - whatever happened to Go? (I know it's been played, but what, once? - speaking of which, where the fug is Once?!)

Hi guys, I know I've been pretty harsh on the band the last few years, but let me just say: anyone who is criticising this year's setlists, deserves to be taken in the arse by Juvenal. they're just great!

Has Go only been played once this tour? Great. I was blown away by it as the main set closer in Rotterdam. Was really fantastic.

I didn't consider Inside Job, I was just talking about the main set.

To all the people who feel MC plays too fast live, may I add: I was at the London show where they played Corduroy, Better Mand and Even Flow, and the tempos of these three felt spot on. Even Flow didn't feel messily rushed, though it was probably a little faster than the studio cut, Corduroy felt like a 98 version, and Better Man was just perfect (was waiting for it to take off in the second verse, but it just stayed at a great, natural pace).

If corduroy is truly being played in the 1998 tempo, i am VERY VERY excited

I don't think I've said anything that could be construed as criticism (though I've already been accused of it elsewhere, re: my comments in the Toronto setlist thread), I instead see it as light-hearted discussion/banter.

It felt perfect when I was there. I strongly reccomend getting the London show when it's available, they seemed to nail almost every performance. Light Years also has a tendency to speed up, but even that felt fine (after the false start). Better Man had a great tag too, Ed had everyone repeating the 'Don't run away' line, and then did the 'Don't let me doooooooown' scream over the top at the end. Great show.
