Any thoughts on why they have not played this live yet? Maybe they are saving one debut for our friends down under? They've played all the other Backspacer songs multiple times on the second leg of this tour, I wonder why not SoS?

This is exactly what I thought. This could be a real set killer if played at the wrong spot. That being said, wouldn't they want to play all of the new songs at least once on the tour?

Hopefully we get it in Australia, because I really like it.

this and THe End just kill the end of backspacer. Maybe they should have been on an Eddie solo album.

Maybe the band realized once they released the DEMO version that the full band version just does not work. It is more of a Ed solo song, just him on stage with a guitar, the full band version on the album just does not work.

This is definitely one of my favorites on the album, and I can't wait to hear how it sounds live. Solo or full band, both versions are amazing

I still much prefer the full-band version.

the Meatloaf version isn't quite as theatrical or melodramatic, but its good too.

Oh, it's the version from the "put the cover art together, get a free song" shill. Funny, I didn't take it seriously then, but now that the albums out, this version is better.
