I don't really believe there will be a full scale 2010 tour untill i see it. There are soundgarden rumors and I think the band is really not gonna do much for the first 8-10 months of the year.
Ed made some comments about the O2 sounding great (and the boot shows it): we built it, and they WILL come.

I have finished berlin, great crowd, great show. My harder choice is gonna be which brother wins out in the end, here or rotterdam?
Wait til you hear Chicago II
I dunno, I think Rotterdam was better than Chicago - no idea if Melbourne will better it though, time will tell.
For the sake of this mix, I really, really hope Ed remembered the lyrics to Tremor Christ in Christchurch - he's screwed up every version so far this year.

Actually, this YouTube vid of Brother from Melbourne has really good audio. I think this is the best vocal Ed's done on Brother, I hope it comes across this well on the boot:

I'm positive my mate Tommy won't mind me borrowing a piece of his review of Christchurch here:

Oh well. He's nothing if not consistent, hey?

I just didn't like the mis-timed buildup to the solo section in Rotterdam and found Chicago a bit punchier (but just went back and found a lyrical flub in the second verse ), but that Melb version sounds like the cream. Dagnamit! The first Melb show I've missed in 6 years and it sounds like it was one of the classics

Are there any good versions post 2000 where Ed hasn't buggered up the lyrics? Even in the best one I know (Boise 2000) he accidentally reverses some lines in the outro

Torino 2006, from memory the whole band just nails it perfectly.
Bizarre, it was the only time that song was played from the end of 2003 to 2009 and they play it flawlessly (and I think it was an impromptu request too), they've played it multiple times this year and Ed's screwed it up every single time.

SOmetimes I just think he changes the lyrics cause he can't remember them. Hail hail in 03, last exit from 06-08 and now this. I now have two down's, and I can't choose which one.

In fact, it was not really impromptu: I followed the band across Italy for this tour, and I know the guy with the Egyptian / Tremor Christ flag who Ed refers to before the song. He was clearly waving it every night since Bern or Bologna, and the band soundchecked it in Torino before the show.
The speech before the song is one of my best memories during PJ tours: Ed talking about flags, we knew which song was next. Awesome build-up for one of my favorite songs.

Done with TO, in chicago, can I tell you that the vocal performance for Love Reign O'er me is Outstanding? I got some picks from toronto that I think will make a good contribution to the mixer. Almost to seattle....

Leg 2 is underway! I went through seattle 1 pretty quick, not muc of a show to be honest, a nice off he goes at this show, but I have some questions, Has ed given on on remember lyrics to comatose and life wasted. I mean he butchers these songs live. If this continues, they maybe left off the mix in general. Starting seattle 2, two songs in, strong show so far, but the mix of these shows sounds off.
I finished outlands fest over the weekend, nice show, nothing spectacular, but a great In My Tree and the one two punch of throw your hatred down and RITFW works here. I might leave those two together and use them.

Lots of the US shows sound that way unfortunately. LA III and LA IV sound better and the Australia/NZ leg sounds better, but most of the US dates have a really weak-sounding mix.

RitFW Christchurch is an awesome version also, but you'll get there in your own good time. I like Ed's "Have we got time for one more?" into YL to finish the tour too.

Hello all,
No, I haven't stopped. I am still working. I just finished the ACL Taping, I got two choices from there, one track from the new album which sounds fantastic. I also have started making setlists. I promise no more of the same. I am gonna take the script from the last two and make it completely different. On to 10/4/09, Oh philly boots! where are thee?

So I am up to show three in australia. The band seems pretty good, a couple of issues in adelaide, but the strongest red mosquito to date. I have decided to extend this mix to include shows from the 2008 tour. After I get done with the 09 shows, I am going back over 2008 before the tour starts in may. I got some tracks ready. Hopefully the 2010 shows are available to an extent. And hopefully at some point the philly shows.
I have done alot of thinking over the past few weeks and decided to extend and make this as massive as possible. I haven't posted on this in quite some time because I have been working on it and busy with life. I have also decided that this will be the last lowlight79 mix. I am done folks. But the best of all!

Great idea to include the 2008 shows. With them and the Phili Experiment included (eventually) that must be pretty much every album track covered for this compilation? (in particular Who You Are and WMA who were missed this year after their brief come back in 08)
Keep up the great work, can't wait to hear this bohemoth
PS> You're in for a real treat listening to the 09 Aus shows, esp Melb & Bris...
