I was so pleased with the 20 or so '09 boots I've heard...seems like they took a super annoying step backwards. I wish there were some sort of website where we could rank all these boots on things like sound quality and well, I guess just sound quality.

Why not just make a thread and rate them?

2000
2003
2005
2008
2009
2010

Is that all of them?

Are we ranking? Let's rank.

2006
2003
2005

The rest...eh. All thoroughly crappy, though 2008 is the crappiest.

woah you're missing out on some great shows. Do yourself a favor and pick up Halifax, Winnipeg or Ottawa.

As for a personal ranking

2000
2003
2005
2006
2010
2008

Who thought up this gay-ass thread? It totally bombed.

I'm surprised B hasn't merged this with something seemingly related but actually unrelated yet.

haha

2005 isnt getting enough love. great tour. the canada dates (that i have heard) and the south american shows should solidify this as one of the greats. i guess it depends on when you were into them the most though... because that would definitely line up for me

I was ranking them for sound quality, not performance - 2005 had some fantastic shows, but I found the boots a little weak sounding (the shitty MP3 quality blew as well).

The fact that I can only get them in mp3 has kept me from giving them more than a passing listen. I don't even remember what they sound like.

Like a tinnier version of 2006, in 192kbps.

But...really strong shows, London has always been a particular fave of mine (and sometimes overshadowed by the others shows that leg.)

London... Growing up preset, which I almost missed due to getting pretty wasted at the Crohn's fundraiser with the Mexicans...the start of the Modern Girl tag... NAIS/Off he Goes/Hard to Imagine to start the first encore... SOLAT/Smile/RITFW to end the show... the Stone dance... the Mike speech about Crohn's... no Given to fly  but still :luv: :luv: :luv:

even if the quality isn't as good as 2000 or 2003 the 2005 shows were so much better (that's just an amazing tour from top to bottom) that they're worth listening to
