Have we seen this yet in 06. I hope does fade away into obscurity. I think it would be a great song before Inside Job and after In Hiding. I love it even more as an opener, see Cardif 2000.

It should def be played more often, It would be a good intro to Inside Job indeed, as it would quiet the crowd down some. (when i saw Inside Job in Chicago, seemed alot of people didnt realize the song had started till a good min into it)
Nothing As It Seems definetly has some of the best guitar work on a PJ song (especially live)
on a side note, Anyone notice Matts new drum fills on Present Tense, and how they are simliar to parts of Nothing As It Seems?

play it in Detroit, get it out of their system before Boston
while they're at it, get Sleight of Hand out of their system in Detroit too

just so long as they play both at my shows, I'm fine.
seriously ... how could anyone not like Sleight of Hand? Just not into jaw-droppingly amazing lyrics that rank as some of the best poetry in the history of the English language? Or what?

it is slow, boring, and kills a crowd faster than you can say Know Your Rights
I mean honestly, any song that takes 5 and a half minutes to build to one great line of sounding like the band gives a shit isn't worth anyone's time

NAIS is a great song and it should be played more. A great fit for this song is a few songs into the setlist, maybe like the 6th song or so. First pummle the crowd with some fast and furious rockers and then mellow thing down a bit with NAIS. I really hope they play it in Europe.

I dont like it because I dont like the music. Lyrics go okay, but unless you match em with a tune Im into, doesnt mean shit.

you need to read more poetry.
nothing against sleight of hand necessarily, but "best poetry in the history of the English language"? That's just an embarrassing statement.

Bump.
Been listening to this one a lot lately. From the simplicity of Stone's chords to Matt's tasteful drumming and those interstellar guitar solos, this one blows me away. I used to find it too boring, especially in concert, but its actually aged pretty well. Yet another reason why Binaural really is the shit.

I think the best version of this is the one on Touring Band, from Seattle. Never heard another version where Mike is so perfect. Also love the double-time bass drum beating at the end by Matt.
