Parting Ways is clearly an RM favorite. A recent thread about Grand Rapids 2006 inspired me to go back and listen to the 2000 versions of this song...and oh man. I forgot how good they were. I remember seeing the full-band P-ways premiere in Detroit that year and being floored, but I didn't realize until much later how great the fall (full electric instead of semi-acoustic) 2000 versions of the song are as a group.
So out of the versions played during 2000 leg three, which is your favorite? I'll start it off with Detroit. Obviously the Seattle shows with the violin stick out too...

I once listened to all of them in a row just to compare. Was it Stockholm that I thought was pretty damn great? Can't remember.
There's also one on the west coast USA, where Eddie put Parting Ways after Black, saying something like "that was a song about a break-up, this next song is even more painful, it's even before the break-up" or something like that.
