hey I am trying to find out what the best live version of wishlist would be, length is not an issue. Forgive me if there is already a thread for this. I am looking for something to listen to on my ipod or in my car. I love the studio version, but this song is just magical live.

Did they end that one like they did in KC, finishing the song on the last line, without any sort of outro? I ask only because the KC set had "Wishlist (Short)" written and am curious if they kept doing it that way.

The version they did on Monkeywrench Radio was excellent as well.

I believe some sort of short outro followed right after the line "I guess it never stops." but I'm not sure what it was. I remember after seeing this version in Indianapolis I looked over at my sister and said "Wow, that was one of the best versions of Wishlist I have ever heard." and many 10C fans around me agreed. I wish I could find it, but it's not up on YouTube and I didn't tape it.

Yes, the Monkeywrench one was quite good. Man, I would love to have a copy of that whole set on the ipod.

The first one I thought of was MSG '03. I love that Buzzcocks part at the end.

I think San Antonio 03 had a pretty good rant wedged in the middle of it. If you're into that sort of thing.

I was there as well and I agree. Not sloppy compared to other versions I have heard. A very good version. He says something like, I wish to not have a wish, I want everyone to have no wants. Then says something like, all I need is you here baby.
