And I'm make a day trip out of Werchter for Arras (looks like my cousin will finally come to his first PJ gig since he lives in Lille so can't miss that!)

Can someone explain or confirm, the dates listed on Pj.com are wrong? wtf?
I think the concept of timezones escape them... EDIT: the dates are correct (I know they weren't weeks ago)

Phoenix : f'n awesome!!! -M- : some French dude apparently, never heard of C&C : Good, I don't have to be there from the beginning then.
M (which I only vaguely know about, never liked French music much and he appeared after i left) is a damper.. but at least that should make room at the front for PJ 'cos I don't really see M fans sticking around, at least not upfront, for them.

M will draw many people to the festival (that day could end up sold out), many will stay for Ben Harper, but there should be a lot of space when PJ hits the stage. You start with one of the biggest "French pop rock" attraction broadcasted over the radios, followed by a well known "roots folk weed smoking" guy, and end up with a bunch of "corporate has beens who followed Nirvana's success".
A bit like Rock en Seine last year when many people left the festival after The Offspring, and Faith No More was next...
I'll be there, but I'm glad to have an incredible Sunday at Werchter the following day.

Is Phoenix very popular in France? I mean, their last few singles have been big hits in Belgium. So I imagine the Belgian attendees (which are quite a lot) will be up for it. I definitely will be. Can't wait to see Phoenix.

when I looked yesterday, the line-up page put M between PJ and Ben, hence my comment. M before Ben makes more sense.
