Can't believe these were over a year ago. I don't care if they officially release them, just please put a proper recording of "In the Moonlight" on this year's Christmas single.

The inside scoop is that the band hated their performance and refuse to release it.
I haven't seen/heard the shows. Are they really that bad? Worse than say, the Philly '09 shows? They vetoed the Philly DVD but at least put out the audio. Not that it makes any difference as most fans will gladly suckle Eddie's taint no matter how badly he performs.

There were a few major flubs ("Who You Are" was a wreck), but I certainly don't remember them being any worse than some of the other 2011 shows they released. I mean, the standard objections to 2011 Pearl Jam all apply, but comparatively speaking, I thought they were decent. "In the Moonlight" was flawless, though--I can't think of any other super-rarity in recent years that's been performed so well on its first time out.

i dont wanna start a bitch fest, but this is bullshit. you cant advertise something as "the last waltz-ish" and then show up and perform bad. has anyone seen the last waltz? its incredible. i know pearl jam wanted to bring their friends to play w/ them like the band did, but a public release is almost a given when you advertise the concerts like that.

Reach Down night 1 was a wreck and wasnt In My Tree's lyrics botched too?
anyway, wasnt Philly 09 released WAAAAAY later too? so I havnt given up hope on the PJ20 shows not coming out I really had a feeling wed hear something by last week though
