I dont have a specific version, but I like (in general) the versions where Ed basically only plays the opening chords but never sings until the OhOhOhhhhh.

Those are my least favourite versions. Virginia Beach 2008 was one of my favourite versions in recent memory, largely because Eddie actually sang the whole thing.

Me too. It was cool for a while being there for those songs, but going back to older versions where he sings the whole thing are better. 1998 had some amazing Bettermans.

11/18/06 from Sydney, Australia is outstanding. It's the show opener.

The versions played at the end of the 2000 tour in Portland, Boise and Seattle are also notable because the band jams out the 'save it for later' tag but Eddie inserts completely different words which seem to be improvised and very heartfelt.

As was I. For being there, it was by far the best. For listening to at home, 4/3/94 will ALWAYS be the bar by which all other versions will be judged.

Yes. Definitely this version... you can feel the raw emotion... beautiful & sad at the same time...

There are a few memorable versions.. but this one is probably my favorite.
