"Watchtower" is just one of those songs that should be retired from the general vocabulary of rock music. It decreases in power from one generation to next like a recordable cassette. Why a band of Pearl Jam's stature would choose to add such a hackneyed cover to their set at this point in their career is baffling.

It's pretty good...until you realize that Eddie can't handle playing the guitar on that song. Actually, don't mind me. I'm just bitter that the version from Eddie's second Berkeley show in '08 with McCready playing guitar wasn't the one filmed for DVD/Blu-Ray.
