I like where they put Given to Fly in the set list, how many people does the stadium hold? 30,000 people and a loss?

btw there is a town nearby where it says home of the platypus

30k isn't really that bad. but i think they expected about 40k. all in all, it was really cool to se PJ playing in Peru for the first time. people really enjoyed the show.
btw, Mike surfed in Lima!!

Werent the Peru tickets the equivalent to $5USD?
Sure I heard that somewhere, in relation to other SA fans complaining that their tickets were so expensive by comparison.

Don't know about Lima, but the cheapest tickets in Buenos Aires were about 125 USD.

I thought you meant 10 USD for the Buenos Aires show, which was not the case at all.

Fair enough. It is a huge price difference though. Easy to see how the band lost money on it. I'm sure the cost was spread onto other shows. Fair play to em for doing it. They did the same with the Poland gig in 96.

Given that they basically have the same on stage set up as a pub band with occasionally a video screen, I don't see how they can lose money on an arena show - particularly if they are already in the area. It's not like they have a dancing troupe or a live video link to Nelson Mandela.

They still have a huge amount of gear and crew to move around. probably didn't make any money on that show at all.
