So on PearlJam.com they have the setlist backwards within each set.

ie, they show Why Go opening and Release closing the first set ... etc

It's all kinds of more interesting when you see the set that way. Still, pretty good.

Not a single No Code song.

:(

Seven from Ten, eight if you want to stretch that to include State of Love and Trust.

Marker looks to have been on the setlist but not played. Let's save that one for Amsterdam, ok?

No need to frown. For a "Pearl Jam's Greatest Hits and Other Sing-A-Longs" set, that looked solid.

That looks like one of the better "1st night of tour" setlists.

It's worked the opposite in the past: in both 2010 and 2011, some songs that were detuned at the beginning of the tour ended up back in standard after a few shows.

This is why setlist threads belong in Live.

i've actually never understood the need for "live" & "tour".

that said, i just started posting the set here as it was coming in, so blame me.

Well, traditionally, Live has been for discussion of live performances and setlist relays, Tour for "hey, who's going to Kansas City???" discussions, ticket sales etc.

Lately, however, it seems like the modding attitude has been that only one thread should exist for each show, containing both setlist relay and general pre-show chatter, and that this abomination of a mega-thread belongs in Tour.

This is lunacy.

Given that last night's show covered just about every 'popular' song and hit, I wonder what tonight's show will have. RVM? Last Kiss? Ledbetter for sure.

Sod's law indicates that this would be the case.

Ed mentioned that Come Back was played at the behest of someone at the front of the crowd requesting it. That idiot ruined my night. Out of the whole songbook of 200 odd tracks, many of them masterpieces, he picks the biggest drag track ever. People barely reacted to it and most of them didn't even clap for it.

He could have picked Hard To Imagine, or Fatal, or Sonic Reducer, or even WMA, just to see what would happen.
