Get for the birds. And setlist. His new record rhythm and repose is bloody excellent too. Doveman produced it and the drummer from the national is on it. Actually all the musicians on it are excellent. Give it a bash.

Thanks. When I do these things for bands that I love, it's incredibly tough to both write for a general audience and also appease my inner fanboy. I hope I did the show justice. Those play-by-plays over at the pit tell a much more detailed story.

I want to know where to start with Hansard.

Yes!

The Frames - setlist

It was the Once Soundtrack for me.

Glen Hansards stuff is great.
He has two bands, the swell season and the Frames

The 1rst swell season album (self Titled) is really good- I recommend that one of the two.
"The 2nd one, "strict Joy" is good, but the first one is better.
With the Frames, I really like:
The cost
Fitzcarlado
Burn the maps.
I'd go with the cost, cause if you have seen Ed with him solo, Glen plays "Falling slwly on this record with a full band.

Setlist is good for live stuff.
Dance the Devil, and for the birds are good albums too.

His solo album is good too. He's been playing "song of good hope." on it alot this tour.
