I have been loving this song recently, what's the popular consensus on the best live version?

The one where you can hear Jeff the least.

The version from Ottawa this past tour was pretty great.

I cringe a little when I listen to the Benaroya version.

I used to wake up to this song every morning for almost a year. Never felt it lived up to its potential live.

Did they ever do it in 98 or was 03 the first time they actually played it?

You're right, they did play it at that show.

Dammit you guys. After the post about Jeff's singing on this, that's all I hear now. I do like the Ottawa version, but it's played to fast. Another thing I hadn't ever noticed until you bastards pointed it out.

It's a good Low Light too. I actually think it's the best version they've done. There's no official release, but there is a good sounding audience source.

I've heard lots of bitching about Jeff's backup vocals on the Benaroya vocals, it doesnt bother me much... only thing I dont like about Low Light live is the lack of the piano.

First performance ever is the best, IMO. Bridge School, Day 2, 2001. Special.

Two of the most recent versions have been pretty good, ottawa 2011, and philly 2009.

I think they're yet to nail it live. But I'm going for that first Bridge School version as my favourite.
