In the last two years (to the day, today) PJ has headlined two concerts in the US, the PJ20 shows last labor day. Since then they have toured Canada, South America, and Europe twice. Now they announce their return to Philly, three years after closing out the Spectrum, and it's a festival consisting of a who's who of overrated crap sponsored by a soul crushing multinational behemoth. I think the bar is now so low, it's not even a debate anymore, much less spirited.

i suppose it's an off album year so festivals are understandable to an extent. This one seems like a bit of an odd choice though.
Also confirms that make is still appartenly the last to know anything. He mentioned last week they would only be playing one other show this year and that it would be in San Fran in September

I had kinda accepted this as a non-PJ year for me until this was announced. 10th consecutive year I'll be seeing PJ. And this Jay-Z thing figures to be different which will be nice
