if the first 20 seconds of this is a demo, the future is bleak.

In a way this is untrue because Last Kiss was on the original setlist.

I was wondering the same thing

I presumed Rain was just a quick improv/snippet before whatever song was next played, was there any discussion that it was actually a full-band cover?

the only videos from the Isle of Wight seem to be the officially shot ones (Blood, Alive, & Yellow Ledbetter).

the last one....

That was a nice nod to the legendary 92 pinkpop performance AND a friendly gesture to Jerry Harrison (THE TALKING HEADS!!!) who was backstage and joined the band on RITFW (on tambourine.. ;) )

What a great show it was, green disease and comatose where such a surprise and the band nailed it! Same with Better Things which got dedicated to their kids who where all in town for these amsterdam shows. Matt oldest son was on stage at the end of RITFW, when the song ended he walked towards his dad but Matt at first didn't notice him but when he did he was very emotional. Beautifull moment that was!

What a night! And this was only the first show......what will tonight bring?? Long Road? Off the Girl?? Of the Earth??

They might've played both Last Kiss and Soldier of Love at the same show at some point (I can't be bothered looking).

Out of all the Kinks songs they could have covered, why a mediocre song from the 80's?
