Jesus, that final encore is brutal (partly redeemed by not closing with Ledbetter).

Remember the good ol' days when they didn't play half of Ten (and associated b-sides) every night?

Haha, that's pathetic. A set with Hard To Imagine, Long Road, In My Tree, Leash, Immortality, Faithfull, It's OK, another crazy Do the Evolution singalong, and an energized crowd who was just begging to hear some of the Ten classics in the 2nd encore.... Looks fine on the internetz, let alone seeing it personally.

Anyway, great show. Couple of mistakes yes, Eddie wasn't as energetic as in Prague but the crowd was certainly up to it, the 1st encore was a bit of a downer but otherwise, I got all of my biggest wishes all in one show and the performance was on par with the setlist.

Can't wait for tomorrow!

Yeah, pretty sure the people who complain that they play Why Go and Leash aren't the people who were clamouring for their return.

It's not just those songs: it's the sheer number of Ten era songs. In 2000, 2003 or 2004 (for example), you might've had two, three or even four songs from Ten played in a set, now that seems more like seven or eight at any given show.

Still, whatever, it doesn't really affect me unless I'm there - that's not going to stop me giving my insignificant opinion, however.

I really dig the fact they played SOLAT and Immortality together.

so i guess that this poster is a nod to (Germany's experimental legends) Can's Tago Mago. i love Can and i love PJ but this poster is amateurish.

The End and Just Breathe back to back is a real snoozer.

For me this was a phenomenal show and terrific night. Overall great set list- for me Faithful, Immortality, In My Tree, It's ok tag, and Hard to Imagine were big highlights. So was RITFW especially since it seemed to be added in response to the HUGE banner that said 'we keep rockin in the free world with you'. DTE was wild and one of the best I've seen. There were flags from all over & the crowd had great energy.

Ed introduced a family he'd met the day before and noted it was the bot's first show. They put on the spotlight and this kid, with ear protection, appears not yet to have seen his fifth birthday and maybe not even his fourth. I had a good view of him all night and how he danced and rocked out was the cutest thing I've ever seen! That kid is a true fan already!

Same thing us usual pretty much. People who have seen shows on this tour all say how amazing they've been. People at home pick on setlists.

It's reassuring to know some things never change.

I wish they were touring another continent so I could join the setlist-pickers again.

Long Road replaced Release.
The End was between () but played.
Betterman in encore 1 was crossed off.
Crazy Mary to open encore 2 was crossed off.
Baba O'Riley was replaced by RITFW.

For me, that's just about the perfect setlist you could get from them in 2012. Sure I could do without the Fixer, but Long Road, Faithfull, In My Tree, Leash, I Believe in Miracles, Hard to Imagine....those are all top-notch. Throw in I Got Shit and it might just be the ultimate set.

The main set, ignoring the Backspacer songs, looks really good. The encores are the typical shitty encores we've grown accustomed to though.
