I have to say, that I love leash. Maybe its because when Vs. came out that was one of the songs on that album I could really identify with at the moment. ITs hard to believe its been a little over ten years when it was released, but for me, Leash really takes me back to what I was feeling at the time. I don't care if the play it again, but I love it.

I love Leash. That song is an anthem to the angst of the time when it came out. It's so stupid to say that they can't play it because they are too old. They were playing it when some of them were 30+. That is not exactly still teenage years. Hell, Ed was almost 30 when he wrote the song. Youth is how you feel, not how many years you have. As long as you feel young, you will be young.

Just listened to the only time I ever heard leash played live...boston, 10 April 94.
It was okay. The song is okay. But it is a little preachy. I think the band probably recognized that, too, and dropped the song from their repetoire.
I don't think they are "too old" to play it. They still play not for you..."Restless souls, enjoy your youth" and "All that's sacred comes from youth"
unless I have the lyrics wrong...
I'd love to hear leash with updated lyrics...
