Because a bunch of 40 somethings belting out "we are young/get out of my fucking face" is just plain silly. Though no sillier than Roger Daltrey stuttering through Hope I die before I get old.

Even so, you'd still sell your first born to hear it wouldn't you?
Also Stone would be shattered if he knew you thought he was 40. Oh dear.

I've never really cared for Leash. I would rather they play some Lost Dogs tunes or No Way, WMA, or Who You Are.

Clever.

I wondered if maybe they felt like it belonged to one of their old drummers or something.

Ok now I really don't get it. Just because the band got a little older means they wont play asong about beign young. I kinda thought thats what they were all about, youtful angst, rebelling against authority etc?

This whole "they can't play leash anymore because they aren't young anymore" is totally ridiculous. A song is a snapshot of a point in time that it was written. You are NEVER at that same point physically, emotionally, spiritually, geographically, etc. but does that mean you can never play a song again. Of course not. Using this logic they should never play Elderly Woman in a large city, because its about a small town. Or Parting Ways, if they aren't in a breakup. and on, and on.....

You're right, it's not because they're old, it's because they have taste and the song sucks.

Tommy, you took the words right out of my mouth.

Do you really want to see a 39 year old sing "get outta my fuckin' face" over and over?

Leave this song in the dustbin.
