Went to the Shake Shack on the upper west side yesterday for the first time... they had the best damn burgers I've ever tasted. The fries, on the other hand, were pretty bland.

Get your ass to the Corner Bistro in the West Village and order a bacon cheeseburger (also just known as the Bistro Burger I believe). Maybe the best burger you'll ever have, great fries, and $3 beers like Hoegaarden and so on.

I had a Black and White while at the Met game last Thursday from Shake Shack. It was delicious and tasted even better b/c I was quite hungover and had great seats that come with waiter service, so I didn't even have to get up.

Why would you go to a Shake Shack and not have a shake?

Because I don't drink chocolate shakes with burgers. Simple enough.

Last week in Times Square, New York saw the opening of the fourth location of Shake Shack, Danny Meyer's cultishly loved burger joint. And for much of last week, the wait for a burger stretched close to an hour. Of course, any fan of the Shack knows that, on warm days at the original Shake Shack in Madison Square Park, wait times can run well over an hour.

yea theres always usually a huge line. sometimes if you're lucky or go at the right time the wait isnt more than 25-30 mins

its worth it though if you dont go that often.

crazy, eh? I live right by the upper west side one...if the line is out the door I dont go...as much as I love them, 20 minutes is the top wait time for me..if they delivered they would have to hire about 100 people
