How do you guys like to distribute your sauce? I put a bit on the top bun, and then put a bit on each bite as I eat.

I'm pretty disappointed about not getting to eat some barbecue in Texas this weekend. Hopefully I can make it in the spring. BBQ in Chicago is insanely overpriced.

i never mentioned dipping, cutuphalfdead...i apply barbeque sauce to the sandwich via squeeze bottle prior to each bite

Just got back from a local joint for lunch. I went with the Carolina style mustard based sauce and it was the right call.
