mayo is probably the grossed shit on the planet that is consumed regularly by the masses. I cook quite a bit when I have time and I never use it with anything. I don't even like it in my refrigerator.
sour cream is pretty shitty too but on certain dishes it has purpose. I mean you can't make cheesecake without sour cream.
Applesauce sucks too. Don't ruin porkchops with it.
Feta cheese is amazing I could eat a big break of it to my head right fuckin now. I can understand someone not liking some specific cheeses but to not like cheese at all is just crazy. You're not living if you don't love cheese and all that it can add to food.
And some one put bacon on here. How can you not like bacon? Its good on pretty much everything. Even good with chocolate and I've heard of a bacon milkshake but never had one too. Fuckin amazing.

My 3 most hated foods were sweet potatoes, beets and cantaloupe. I've come around on sweet potatoes and beets so the only food I can think of that I've eaten and don't like is now cantaloupe.

I love all three of those things.
It warms my heart that you've come around on the beets. Love beets.

I don't like sweet potatoes either. It seems like everybody here in the south loves them.
I don't hate them but they aren't my favorite. I like sweet potato fries a lot but say when my mom makes this really southern sweet potato dish with marshmellows and added cinnamon and sugar I can't do it. Its not just her's, anytime I go to some big family outing with anyone from a very southern family or BBQ or whatever, someone brings a similar contraption.

if you like cottage cheese, cut the cantaloupe in half, scoop out the seeds, and fill that spot with cottage cheese. im not a big fan of cantaloupe, but mixed with certain other fruits or cottage cheese and i enjoy it a lot

Yeah I guess I was just used to the canned ones they used to heat up on Thanksgiving...and they were all sweet. I had some good ones at restaurants in the last couple years. The best I've had was at a place called the south philly taproom, a beet salad that had arugula and feta w a nice salty dressing....it was a lot of huge pieces of beets. Two friends split it with me, it was huge. Funny thing is the next day the 3 of us all had what looked like bloody dumps. hahaha

I have issues with texture of food, rather than taste. Most food I claim I don't like, I could eat if i'm being polite. It's seafood and offal that get me. And i'm starting to go off meat.
