Boy howdy this new crock pot is something! I just enjoyed a faithful reproduction of my grandmother's savory taco soup and I have enough left to feed me for three or four more meals. Who do I see about membership to this thread?

With my new job, I can afford meat. This is going on the menu in teh next few weeks. Also, If anyone has any good pulled pork recipes for the slow cooker, I'd love to have them. I now own a spice rack too.

Reid, if you've ever had Kaluha pork it is essentially the Hawaiian version of pulled pork. Once it is done in the slow cooker, it falls apart nicely. The seasoning is delicious and is usually enjoyed with a little soy sauce. :li:

I :heartbeat: this thread.

I make a crockpot meal atleast once a week.

- LOTS of soups: Chili, chicken and corn, chicken noodle, taco soup, etc

- Pork BBQ

- Roasts

etc
etc

I love coming home from work smelling your already prepared dinner and the flavors are great after 8 hrs of cooking!

pro-tip: instead of using those awful seasoning packets when making tacos, pick up some of this instead and add a squeeze of lime and a bit of cilantro
