i like regular doughnuts or i guess they call them old fashioned. i really don't like all the sugar and shit they put on them. it makes it a birthday cake at that point. i don't like icing on cake really. funny thing, i LOVE the everything bagel. |

Next to the Chelsea Hotel on 23rd St. in New York is this great doughnut place called Doughnut Plant. I think it's in some other place(s), but the one in Chelsea is the only one I know. They have this absolutely amazing cocunut cream doughnut. I can't even describe how good it is, but this picture gives an idea:  This one actually kind of looks like a person's thumb has been cut off and stuck onto the side of it, but ignore that. Holy cow, it's good. |

My colleague brought in some Pączki from a small Polish bakery. Powdered sugar and jelly filled, and then powdered sugar and cream filled. |
