B, glad to see you are staying local. Looking forward to trying that Highland porter as their Oatmeal Porter is top notch.

Sometimes I don't bother posting beers here b/c I assume they aren't available outside of NC.

The last two nights, I've had

Triangle Habanero Ale
Top of the Hill Cask IPA and Saison
Natty Greene's Freedom IPA
Fullsteam's One Hop Rye IPA

what's the deal with gluten free beer? Anyone try these yet? I know gluten free is the new popular way of eating, but I can't bring myself to drink a beer brewed from sorghum.

was able to snag 2 bottles of Pliny the Elder today..It's weird that only a few places around here sell it..first off they dont put it on the shelf and you basically have to ask the beer guy to please sell some to you..they limit you (at least me and others) to 1 bottle a week

Doug, please do what you can to see that the always-rumored Arizona distribution of Russian River actually happens.

I am returning to the homeland for a weekend of wedding bliss and thus will be drowning in a sea of Surly. Specifally:

STYLE: American India Pale Ale
MALT: Pale Ale, Golden Promise, Aromatic, Medium Crystal, Roasted Barley
HOPS: Warrior, Ahtanum, Simcoe, Amarillo
YEAST: English Ale

AVAILABILITY: Cans and Kegs Year Round

Strataholic = very excited.

Say hi to Minnesota for me strat. I have some crazy cousins there.

The bf and I have a plan to cut down on our beer consumption during the week (his idea not mine), but I had a rough day with legal bs so he brought this home for me. :-)

My beer store has Celebration on tap for growlers. :D

Also, not to rub it in Reid, but they also have Westbrook White Thai on tap.
