salt is not as deadly as people make it out to be.

Salty foods. yes . potato chips, ya know shit like that you really should not be eating in the first place,

but if you add salt to a marinade it's fine. salt to taste is ok.

You need salt in your diet, just use it sparingly.

I love salt, and i'll never give it up. My mom gets on my case because we have high blood pressure in the family, but mine is always very low. so I attribute the massive amounts of salt I consume to keeping me alive.

Actually . . . considering the amount of salt I consume vs the amount of liquid i drink, I'm surprise I haven't made jerky of myself yet, lol.

If you load up on veggies, lean meats and proteins, and whole grains, there's plenty of room in a healthy diet for salt, caffine, and the occasional chocolate indulgence.

Yes, but also consider the fact that your sodium intake doesn't always come only from salt. There's sodium in everything, but salt probably has the highest concentration of it. The aim is to cleanse your kidneys with water.

Just use salt man. Don't drown shit in it, but go ahead and use it. Unless you're eating a ton of processed foods, you'll be fine.

Yeah you'll be fine as long as you don't go crazy. You know when there's lots of sodium in your food when you can taste the strong flavor (check the nutrition facts, if available, just to be on the safe side).
But just remember....WATAH! Unless you're eating steamed veggies all day, you need to constantly rinse out the sodium in your body with plenty of water. When you piss, the you're ridding your body of water+ammonia+salt waste+alcohols+other minerals.

this is a great chart. it's a little hard to take seriously though, given all of the sarcasm arrows at the top. at least, my rm reflexes told me so at first. ;)
