spike, when you add child-rearing responsibilities to what already appears to be a jam-packed schedule, how likely do you regard it that you will graduate from merely doughy to positively rotund?

there are no current plans to expand our family, in terms of membership or waistline.

i made a basic turkey chili tonight and tossed in some three philosophers in lieu of water. the result wasn't too different from the usual but did seem to add some depth to the overall flavor.
i'll be experimenting with beer in my chili again; any recommendations for a kind to use?

when i move into a bigger apartment next year, lenny's staying with us for a week; he just doesn't know it yet.
