Actually, a textbook jew would know that 80% of $1.75 is $1.40. You typically leave around $3.15 and say "keep the change, bro", right?

Not very textbook jew math. lol!

Im actually very textbook jew. I put it on the check card, do the math, write out the amount, keep the receipt and lock it away!

Quite the contrary, I'd think you'd give $1 or $2 or $1.25 to round it to $3. But $1.40? That's a very odd tip.

Why would you say "keep the change?" If you're giving that much extra, the tip is implied. You'd only say "keep the change" if you were giving $2.00.
