The lighting is horrible. This watermelon is actually quite tasty.

I enjoy watermelons, but hate watermelon-flavored things.

$12.46 for half a small watermelon. And they aren't even super fresh.

I was at the supermarket just now by work and a whole watermelon was 6.99 which I thought was a buck or two too expensive and watermelon halves and quarters were .49/lb

You can't even buy a full watermelon here... at least not at that store.

All of that is too expensive. Watermelons are really really cheap where I grew up in Colombia.

I don't even know how to respond to this.

I think most Alaskans feel this way. We pay outrageous prices for all fruit, and none of it's even fresh.

Don't get me started on staples. Or a box of cereal ($6+).

I'm pretty much over watermelon atm.

I don't do it, but I get it...Canteloupe and a salty ham, like Prosciutto go really well together.

This is actually pretty good, and refreshing; goes great with an actual watermelon wedge:

I've tried a couple watermelon beers and they've all been awful.

I rarely rarely drink, but I prefer Rum with my fruit.

Agreed. But...that one is more like watermelon essence. Like it kinda smells like it, and there is a trace of watermelon flavor, but it's not overpowering. Its still by no means my favorite beer, but for a watermelon beer (minus for me), plus being a wheat (nother minus), I actually kinda like it.
