i searched, i didn't find.
so who likes this stuff? and what are some of your favorite places, because i always find myself on road trips...so who knows.
i like rolls, because everywhere you go there is always something new. but nothing, imo, beats some good Sashimi. so smooth, melts in my mouth, goes well with a brew or three. couple places in BC and Seattle were just class.

I usually go for a california or philadelphia roll. pretty lame/tame as far as sushi goes, but I really like the taste of these two and not so much of others I have tried.

i agree with all of you. for the most part...mayo is always iffy for me.
raw tune=heaven. still remember when my dad ordered a tuna steak from a seafood restaurant and his first bite he spit out...he said it wasn't cooked. OH dad! he took it home and put it in the oven.

the only thing ive tried are some of the veggie rolls, and they are usually just ok to me. im not brave enough to try anything else, i dont even eat cooked seafood. even if i did eat seafood, im thinking that i wouldnt be able to do much with the sushi, ive kind of decided that the reason i can only eat a few pieces of a veggie roll before im tired of it is because of the seaweed, it gets old fast for me, so reguardless of what else was in the roll, i think the seaweed would end up doing me in.
someday though the wife may talk me into trying somehting, we will see

I love it. Salmon and tuna has to be real fresh in my book. Yellowtail is probably my favorite. I love a good rainbow roll, dragon rolls, spicy shrimp, and Chesapeake rolls (blue crab, spicy mayo, green onions). I really like Nigiri sushi, but I feel it's overpriced for what you get and lacks the complexity of flavors that can be found in other rolls.

yeah, sucks how much nigiri can be. i still get a bit once in awhile though.
I've only ever tried sushi once, and I'm pretty sure the friend I was with did a terrible job on introducing me. I'm not sure what one would use as an introductory to sushi, but the rolls she picked definitely weren't it.

Needless to say, I've not had any since.
I will take you out for sushi.
Super! =] Does the place you go to have combos? I mean I figure if there are enough kinds I may find one I like?
