Do you guys eat the backbone that sort of crumbles with the filet? I try not to but it's pretty much unavoidable. Am I doing it wrong?

my lack of sardines is a contributing factor to my inability to eat them

i'd recommend heading to the store to procure some, but guys who eat sardines are usually shut ins.

i feel like "enjoying sardines on toast" would be the kind of facebook status update that would earn me equal points curiosity and revulsion from the cheetoh-eating contingent of my friends

i noticed that these little sexpots come packed in all kinds of flavors (hot sauce, soybean oil, tomato sauce, etc). i'd really like some direction on which way to go with my first sardine experience

start with plain water or packed in oil...dont start with mustard or hot sauce just yet..its a gradual process
