Dontcha feel guilty spending that much money going out for dinner? I would. Not that I condone the dollar menu @ Mc'd's, but still isnt this a bit pretentious? If anything, wouldnt you rather spend the money on some fine gourmet cooking at home with your friends? Party it up!
Obviously you're poor. Only a poor person would say something like that.

I waste money all the time, but I just couldn't waste it on a $100+ meal. If the meat you're eating isn't from an endangered species, you're just paying for the atmosphere and the ability to say you ate a certain restaurant. I don't see the point. There are plenty of great cooks selling their prime rib for $25.
Ah. I really want to try Per Se. We hit 11 Madison Park before the 5/21 PJ show and that was pretty amazing. My most expensive was... probably Nobu in Hyde Park (also PJ related since we met Jeff and Mike as we were leaving). It was not the best over all but their 3 day cod was the best single dish I've had. Around $450 including wine. Isn't Per Se like $275 to start?

lol yeah. It was like 16 courses? The service is probably the best in the city. I thought it was so cutie when our waiter gave my handbag a chair to "sit" on :3

Ate at an Eric Ripert restaurant called Blue at the Ritz in Grand Cayman a couple years ago with my parents, who spent about $650 for three people, I think. Ridiculously opulent experience, and unreal food.
