There's not a single part of a pig that I would not eat, confident that it would be delicious.
OMG...Id pick pork over beef anyday. We used to raise our own pigs and that pork was even more fantastic!
Bacon! Bacon! Bacon!

it was the second time i've been. it's unbelievable. hands down the best BBQ in the city. my BIL is a longtime devotee of Kreuz in Lockhart (as am I) and it's made a believer of both of us. deserves mention as one of the best places in the state. i heard he's going to move into an actual building soon.

I agree. I've been to Lockhart, and at least within the area, it's the best BBQ joint in central Texas. I used to live right by the trailer, I'd almost prefer that they stay small. I miss Austin.
I know Famous Dave. He owes me a party. I cook better than him and his brother.... haha

I just got back from Memphis and I can now safely say that Texas BBQ>Tennessee BBQ (Corky's and Neely's at least).
Vinegar can be a polarizing ingredient.
I wouldn't say that I feel strong enough to be polarized, but I know where I stand. It's more to do with beef versus pork ribs. I did enjoy BBQ spaghetti very much.

also, I mainly work with a vinegar based marinade and love it.
I love making vinegar / east North Carolina marinades, and it's like it was made just for pork. So, so delicious
Have y'all tried South Carolina style sauce? It's the mustard base...spicy, tangy, and absolutely perfect on grilled chicken. It's real easy to make to, all you need is:
French's Yellow Mustard Brown Sugar Apple Cider Vinegar Cayenne Pepper Black Pepper Low Sodium Soy Sauce Garlic Onions
Mix that stuff up, brush it over your meats while grilling, and bamo whamo, you got some good eating S. Carolina style BBQ.
