The difference between McCormick's Montreal Steak rub and Porch is that Porch has a great MELODY. You know, a succession of notes that doesn't just halfheartedly fill in the gaps left by the guitar riff. A memorable, passionate, feverish buildup. A jam that-- yeah, sometimes doesn't really go anywhere, but is often really good. Lyrics that, although far from the height of lyrical prowess, DON'T sound written by that jackass from Sum 41.
