tried a new sushi place tonight. the wife had a shrimp tempura roll that was outtasite; i had a spicy tuna roll that was very good. we also took advantage of $1 happy hour oysters that were excellent and did a bit of robata involving alligator and beef tongue.

still relatively healthy though, as long as you stick to the basic stuff.

Eel rolls have like 350 calories. Shrimp tempura has something like 600. Crazy.

I finally tried sushi for the 1st time in my life. I hated it.

And I used a fork, no faggot sticks.

I tried in a decent enough restaurant. Not really my thing at all.

And I found it weird people telling me "it isn't that good at 1st, but then it gets better the more you try". It sounded like they were talking about being in the receiving end of anal sex.

This irritates me more than anything when I go out to sushi places. They all look at me like I'm below them for eating with my fingers...

I've been told this is the most delicious piece of fish in the world, but it can also give you explosive orange wax diarrhea.

Anyone ever try it?
