the filets are ok if you just cook them medium rare and then make french dip sandwiches for the next day or two

Garbage

Spike, check out Stockyards' offerings. Pricey, but well worth it. You can save money on shipping by just picking it up from their facility on the west side.

i dunno, i think i'm done with the frozen sealed steak experiment. i'd rather just pick up a cut at the grocery.

I'm really into good steak and this stuff is just not good let alone worth the money.

If you're going to order steak online, make sure it's PRIME. Will pay a bit more than Omaha but that will be some good ass steak.

Want to treat yourself? Order from here:

lol @ $42 a steak before shipping but this is the real deal. Better just going to Palms or Mortons for that price.

If you get the chance, head up to Burton Place on Burton and Wells. I used to live around the corner from it and it was my favorite late-night bar.

I haven't. I think it's relatively new. Can't hurt to try. The Wells St. Art Fair should be coming up. Definitely hit that up.

yeah, i saw a sign for that the other day. i figure it's a good way to sample offerings from all the restaurants along there, as i'm assuming they'll have food booths.
