Mixed. Not really sure what else to say. Not a huge difference in my B/M and while my 'roids haven't "hurt" once since I started on this, I'm still having issues there. I figure I will give this another month or two before I go back and get the procedure which will take months too. I still have to get my fiber up to 30g a day. I'm at about 20 now.

How are you having such a hard time? Add whole grains to your diet and you're there in no time. Throw some granola and raspberries in yogurt and you've just had about 10g of fiber right there. Wheat bread instead of white. Eat shredded wheat, or raisin bran, or whatever you can tolerate in terms of high fiber cereal. Oatmeal.

Split pea soup, bran muffins, artichokes (on pizza for example).

The options are endless if you think it through and get creative.

all of your suggestions are disgusting. i'm telling you: psyllium husks. tasteless, quick, 0 calories (minus the fiber), go on with your day.

I'm the pickiest eater on the planet and I'd eat any of that (especially if I was plagued with ass issues). Back the f off. =]

I don't really like wheat. I do like fruit and have been adding a lot of it to my diet. The breakfast part is easy, I eat a high fiber cereal. Its after breakfast it gets tough. Bran muffins, split peak soup, artichokes, all make me want to vomit.

how the fuck do you ger 40g a day? i am probably getting 20-25 tops. ordered some more supplements. the gummy fiber bears are awesome but only give you 5g a day.

I eat this. Still hard to get to 30-40g a day.

Add a banana...most of them (medium sized) have about 15 to 20% dietary fiber, so that with the cereal would put you up to 71%. Eat an apple later in the day, and add another 15 to 20%, and you're pretty much there. Or, blueberries; those little fuckers are packed with fiber.

I have two glasses of metamucil every day. One in the morning and one in the evening. Best thing ever. I have no idea how much fibre that is though.

Yah, I've been eating an apple a day or so. I don't really like bananas but I easily could put it in the cereal. I agree this is the best way to get to 30g.

Basically Cereal = 10g. Gummy Bears = 5g. The 15g plug needs to happen with fruit and maybe beans one meal.

Re metamucil, it's only 3 or 4g and I really didn't like the taste. But I might work that back into my routine.

I get the wild berry flavoured one. It's pretty good as far as flavouring is concerned. I also eat at least one piece of fruit a day, have granola/cereal for breakfast most days and always pick whole wheat options where I can.

any good a cereal that comes in a box does is immediately cancelled out by the intense amounts of salt and sugar in them...

good old fashioned porridge(aka gruel) if you can find it...it's nothing but fiber and a big bowl or 2 smaller bowls at each end of the day and you're problems solved.

Steel Cut Oatmeal is good too. Put some bananas and blueberries with it, and you're on the way to 100%.

Oh, dark chocolate is good for fiber too...I think something like one serving has like 5g, so as an occasional it's a tasty way to add some fiber. Just watch out of the ones loaded with sugar.
