I'm trying to eat more corn tortillas, but there's just something wholesome about a fresh flour tortilla that I can never see myself giving up entirely.

is it a sin to eat flour totillas?
bad for your health?
annoying to your co-workers?
detrimental to society?
does it attract the wrong kind of attention for you?
is it disgustingly expensive when compared to the cost of a corn tortilla?
just plain un-hip?

help a brother out here, pal.

bad for your health is really only the kind of thing you give up food for after the age of 40, babe. and expensive? well, ok, do you need me to float you a loan or something, reed? I had no idea that things were so bad off for you. are you like... you know, lenny poor these days?

I'm making bank now, bro.

oh, ok- cool- you should be floating me a loan then, yeah?

Could but I won’t.

You could probably substitute the chuck roast for pork butt, if you're nasty.

My favorite tortilla based foods:

Flour tortilla:

WRAPS =

flour tortilla
spread some cream cheese (just some) onto
lay down two ham lunchmeats
lay down some just-cut red pepper slices....maybe 3 or 4 if they're squat
you roll that up and you eat it

then make another one

1 or 2 day old red pepper slices simply won't 'cut it,' knee tunes?

no.

they get too curly.

kind of like cat meat does in a Chinese chicken dish.

LOL @ curly.

I'd grill them peppers. After just cutting them, of course.

no.

this is a cold wrap.

grilled peppers will make them hams wettish and the cream cheese melty
and then they'll fight

Pretty much. I prefer the orange colored peppers.

orange, red, yellow or especially green, they add nothing to a dish except color

The orange peppers are sweet, actually. Once you cook them though, the flavor is gone.

I'm pretty sure Doug's a grill guy. He might not be too familiar with the fresh Red or Orange pepper....I'm not saying either way, mind you

However, even, for shiskabob's sake, you don't want to over grill peppers-triangled on any skew

Hot peppers?

I mostly look at them quick, then turn away.

I like buffalo wings though.

and those red hot jawbreakers.
the ones that you have to store in your cheeks

I'm thinking there is far too little cilantro on those tacos. Other than that, looks wonderful.

Yeah, I took a second and third look at those and it seems the blogger only uses cilantro as a garnish. :shake:
