I recently discovered chopped garlic in a jar and I'm not sure why people ever bother crushing the fresh stuff. My girlfriend still uses the cloves though.

That diced stuff in the jar has no taste. Go back to fresh, and it'll blow your mind.

Using fresh stuff tonight. I was just lazy. I'm still lazy, imho.

sometimes I roast a head of garlic w olive oil and salt, then I squeeze it out into a bowl and eat all of it...I walk around for the next 2 days reeking of it and not caring.

I've made some real tasty 40 clove chicken. Eaten the shit out of food at the Stinking Rose in SF. I like the way that it tastes.

The diced/minced shit in the jar kind of sucks but I buy it for when I dont feel like dealing w fresh. I discovered crushed garlic in a jar and it's pretty close to the fresh.
